Following community feedback, Second Dinner is embarking on a complete overhaul of card acquisition and progression in Marvel Snap through the introduction of Spotlight Caches. But what exactly does this new system entail?

Understanding Spotlight Caches

Spotlight Caches introduce a fresh method of obtaining newly released cards, Series 4 cards, and Series 5 cards. These caches become accessible on your Collection Level Track once you surpass Collection Level 500.

A Spotlight Cache becomes available on the track every 120 Collection Levels, meaning that one out of every 10 Collector’s Reserves will now transition into a Spotlight Cache.

How Do Spotlight Caches Function?

Every week, Spotlight Caches showcase three different Series 4 and 5 cards, including the latest release. Upon opening a Spotlight Cache, you are guaranteed to obtain one of these three featured cards or a random Series 4/Series 5 card. If you already possess one of the featured cards, the Spotlight Cache will instead offer a time-exclusive variant of that card.

The reward pool of Spotlight Caches refreshes weekly and comprises one brand-new card, two existing Series 4/5 cards, and a Random Series 4/5 card. With these alterations, you can expect an enhanced rate of card acquisition, regardless of whether you have completed Series 3 or not!
